The Ben Doran Hotel

The Ben Doran lies in its own sheltered seven acre garden setting in the mountain village of Tyndrum. Designed and built by Ian Cleaver himself in 1992, it uniquely has its dining room and lounges on the top floor, giving spectacular views across the glens and mountains. The gardens have several lily ponds and extensive lawns which are a haven for wildlife and provide the setting for the Head Gardener’s spectacular flower shows from Spring through Summer till late Autumn.

With its beautifully kept and sparkling exterior, the Ben Doran is awash with colour all year round, inside and out - the Summer show really is stunning. Our bedrooms are all very spacious with open views to the grounds and all the facilities you will need to make your stay with us perfect.
