The Dalmally Hotel
WINNER - Mrs Cynthia Evison
Congratulations to Mrs Cynthia Evison from Cheshire who wins a coach tour holiday for two to the Scottish Highlands.
What a great essay, I wonder if she will invite her sister Beryl from Australia to join her?
Happy Highland Memories
I first visited Highland Heritage Holidays in approximately 2002, along with my sister who had highly recommended the holiday to me.What a wonderful break it was.
The first hotel I stayed at was the Dalmally. The décor and surroundings were truly beautiful and the food absolutely delicious with a choice of menu. The manager and all the staff were so very helpful, courteous and polite. The various day trips out were with wonderful drivers and, of course, they were very knowledgeable indeed, explaining the history of the Highlands and the places we visited. The evening entertainment was excellent, with a different artist each night. Back home I thought, “What a superb break I have just experienced!” as it was the ideal holiday for a person travelling alone, everyone so very friendly.
The following year I travelled alone – but not for long! The dining area I shared with three wonderful ladies, and the four of us had a great time. We resumed our friendship on our return, and each year booked with Highland Heritage for the four of us. I have been in most seasons – Turkey and Tinsel just fabulous!! However, whatever the season, it is most enjoyable. In 2014 my sister was visiting me from Adelaide, South Australia, and I booked the Ben Doran for the two of us. Beryl thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and took some lovely pictures of the breath taking scenery of the Scottish highlands – and yes, another wonderful holiday!
Without patronising, I can only say I recommend your holidays for excellent value for money, superb food, exceptional care taken of passengers, and door to door trips out to various places each day. You only have to arrive at the coach with your suitcase – the staff take care of you after that, and with lifts to all floors, everything is just perfect.
